Recording at Avatar Studios!
Some say it's one of the world's top ten studios...
One of my most exciting and humbling musical adventures ever lived happened today and yesterday. I'm doing guitar, songwriting and production in Pamela Steebler's EP soon to be released, and spent two days in Manhattan recording in Studio B in Avatar Studios (right next door to the prestigious Studio A).
Work was done in 5 songs, two of which my originals. More to be posted about it soon!
There was even an unexpected encounter and a hang out with Lelo Zaneti, the bass player of one of Brazil's biggest and best bands ever, Skank! They were there mixing their upcoming album in a room close to ours. Of course, we took him into our studio and showed him one of the songs we had just recorded!
